I visited a local thrift store recently and found this book from the fifties about Switzerland. I bought it mainly for the vibrant cover and map of Switzerland. The photo’s and the text are a bit…well fifties.

I bought because  Switzerland  has been our favorite destination for a couple of years now, more specific Lugano in Ticino. A lovely town located on the shore of Lake Lugano near the border with Italy.

  Love the colorful graphics on both photo’s

The books were produced by Dutch coffee brand Douwe Egberts. People back then were able to collect the books by means of points the were printed on the packaging.
