I love Gathered magazine, a digital magazine made by the team of Mollie Makes for the iPad. Gathered is a fully interactive weekly filled with projects, stories about crafters and nice crafts.

Issue # 5 contained a craft I really had to try, embroidering the cover of a notebook. A lovely idea by Meredith Crawford of A Sheepish Girl. I like to embroider so I ordered 3 plain Moleskine notebooks and used yarn that I had left from previous embroidery projects.

I used the design by Meredith for the to do notebook, because I thought it is really cute.  The other design, a gardening diary, I thought up after finding the pattern for the rose at Prick and Stitch is my craft.
